What if I do not have a Paypal account?

In case you do not have a PayPal account or u actually find it easier to use other means to donate, we have set up two other ways through which to do so.

1. Mobile money (Mostly for those in Uganda).

We will be able to recieve donations through mobile money services that are offered by the local network service providers like Airtel and MTN.Follow the steps below in order to make this a reality.

• On either network use the USSD code *185# to open the Mobile money interface
• From the returned list reply with the number that has Send money (usually 1).
• You will then be presented with a new list asking for which network the recipient is using. Reply with the number adjacent to Airtel or mobile user(usually 1).
• The system will then ask for the number to which the money is to be sent. Enter number 0707943205. this is the number we have set up to accept donations on Mobile/Airtel Money.
• After the number then u will be prompted for the amount. This will be the amount of money you wish to donate in Ugx (Ugandan shillings).
• After entering the amount above you will be asked to confirm the donation bu entering your pin. As a mechanism to make sure that mistakes are reduced when sending money. Make sure that the name the system brings is Kyomugisa Harriet. An example of such a message is added below.

2. Sendwave

For those that may not be in Uganda but still find it harder to use PayPal, we can also receive money through Sendwave.

1. Install the Sendwave App(with a penguin)
2. Add your account details or the account from which you want the money to be extracted
3. Under recipient’s name put (Kyomugisa Harriet)
4. Add the amount you would like to send..it will show you how much we will receive depending on the rate of your currency at the moment
5. Then press send!
6. Send wave will redirect you to a transaction page
7. The money will be with us in less than 2minutes
8. And then an email will be sent to you to confirm the transaction.

Is it possible to do a direct bank transfer?

Not yet, However this is being arranged and will be available very soon.
