WHAT WE DO?

Every girl or woman has a dream for a better future. Every dream is valid, but unfortunately, not every dream is given a chance and that is why our programing, selflessly focuses on providing all forms of support to enable these dreams to thrive. We believe that every person deserves a second chance in life and in a solemn selfless aim to support the women and children particularly the girl child, We continue to raise awareness about the prevailing women and child injustices and rehabilitate the victims by validating their deserving of every opportunity to pursue and achieve their own dreams through our bi-monthly and annual donation drives.

We support communities grappling with prevailing numbers of people living in poverty, gender-based violence, sexual abuse, child marriages, and pre-marital teenage pregnancies. We fundraise and use the proceeds to construct water sources, community latrines, donate food supplies, offer school dues, and also offer counseling in a bid to better their livelihoods.

Through our work, we focus on the two thematic areas as listed below;

• Education: Despite Uganda being on the journey to fulfill its international and regional commitments to offering quality education to all under such instruments like the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, the Sustainable Development Goals, and many others, many children still don’t enjoy their right to quality education due to a number of factors amongst, which is poverty. As an organization that is comprehensively focused on empowering young people and youths, we extend scholastic materials and school fees support to enable children especially girls from underprivileged backgrounds to attain an education.

• Women empowerment: As a reference to an African proverb that goes as ” empower a man and you impact an individual but empower a woman and you impact the entire nation” – we extend both materials and emotional support to enable the mothers of this great nation to thrive. We educate women about their rights, equip them with hands-on skills in crafts, entrepreneurship. We hope that by doing all this, the women can start to be independent and also be able to supper their families especially in times where the husbands are not in a position to.

Each and every day, we witness the need for the services we offer. This makes us more optimistic to keep doing and in the near future we hope to build a shelter – social institution that is a mediator site for rehabilitating, counseling, facilitating and empowering, the women, children especially the girls and the victims of the aforementioned injustices to lead a more fruitful and fulfilling life.
